Stratagem was established in 1992 as a Proprietorship firm to provide consultancy and broking services on Stock Exchanges and was later converted into a Private Limited company in 2006.

In the year 2001 we expanded the business and ventured into system trading. A trading system is a tool that uses objective entry and exit criteria based on parameters that have been determined by historical testing on quantifiable data. Over a period of time we developed a platform for auto execution of system driven orders. Stratagem became member of National Stock Exchange of India Limited in the year 2010 to setup proprietary desk to trade Equity Market and Index, Stock, Commodities and Currency derivatives. Although this was still a new concept, we developed number of good systems and strategies and deployed them to trade for our proprietary account. Our unique structure pleases and entrust system developers that is why many system developers have submitted their systems to be tested and deployed at Stratagem on partnership basis.
